Fresh from his back-to-back Coachella performances, YG has now offered up more details regarding his forthcoming album.

In a new interview with Billboard, the “Big Bank” rapper shared that his fourth studio album will be titled “4REAL 4REAL”. Due to arrive on May 3, the effort is the follow-up to 2018’s Stay Dangerous, which peaked at number five and spent eight weeks on Billboard‘s Rap Albums chart.

Initially, the project was slated to be released earlier this month, but following the tragic death of his close friend and frequent collaborator, Nipsey Hussle, YG delayed its arrival. On April 11, the 29-year-old lyricist was a pallbearer at Hussle’s Los Angeles memorial service, which packed L.A.’s 21,000-seat capacity Staples Center.

Elsewhere in the interview, YG revealed that being in the studio is where he feels unabashedly free, especially during this time of grieving.

“If I’m not doing music, I feel depressed,” the lyricist told the publication. “I feel like I ain’t s***. I like to create, and right now, I know where I want to be, and I know how to get there.”
