Workers Put Out Fire At Timberline Lodge

Mt. Hood, Ore. – A fire broke out at Timberline Lodge near Government Camp yesterday afternoon. Workers were able to put it out before firefighters got there. It did some minor damage in the housekeeping area, but the lodge is okay. The cause is still being investigated. No one was hurt. The Historic Timberline Lodge is still open to visitors.
