Wale Drops New Boom-Bap Infused Track
As fans anxiously await the release of Wale‘s sixth studio album, the rapper is helping tide fans over with his newest effort “Daylight.”
The euphoric single arrived on Monday and features production from Thelonious Martin. “My album finished; I’m just out here playin’” reads the message on the cover art for “Daylight.”
While the details regarding Wale’s forthcoming LP are scarce, fans can expect the project to arrive at some point later this year. Back in April, the “Lotus Flower Bomb” rapper teased that he had been in studio with Pharrell, as well as frequent collaborator Miguel.
But this impending album could very well be Wale’s final release. Late last year, the D.C. lyricist revealed on Twitter that he had been hard at work on “what hopefully will be the last Wale album.”
Thanks bro. Something we all needed.
