Sampling has always been a part of the hip-hop culture and is an art form WE truly appreciate.

Queen Naija has exploded onto the R&B scene after having a successful YouTube career. The current trend is that YouTubers are getting into the music scene, but unlike some of her cohorts, she can actually produce a good product. She delivered on her popular track “Medicine”

She ended up sampling one of Timbaland’s Protege’s. Think has been in the game since she was 16 and has put out quite a bit of music. She ended up doing a song in 2014 with Jeremih called “Don’t Tell Nobody. This was Queen Naija’s inspiration.

Its great to see up and coming talent dig through crates and find music as an inspiration for their work. WE are excited to see where Queen Naija goes from here.
