“Lucid Dreams”

Sampling has always been a part of the hip-hop culture and is an art form WE truly appreciate.

Juice WRLD is one the best young rappers that’s starting to pop off. Well, he created a song called “Lucid Dreams” that sounds so familiar that you have definitely heard it before. Nas had a song called “The Message” in 1997 but event that song was a sample from a rock great.

The song you may not know that this sample is from the legend Sting and the song is called “Shape of my Heart”.

It’s great to see young artists looking back at older generations for inspiration. It shows appreciation for sure.
