“Transportin”

Sampling has always been a part of the hip-hop culture and is an art form WE truly appreciate.

Kodak Black is one the young guns in this hip-hop game and he is often ridiculed for his image and his flow. Well, there is more to the surface than WE see, because on his track “Transportin” he sampled the Geto Boys famous song “Mind Playing Tricks on Me”. And if that song sounds familiar, it is because the Geto Boys sampled it from the legend Issac Hayes’s song “Hung Up On My Baby”.

As much flack that Kodak Black gets, at least he has great taste in finding samples for his songs.
