Ty Dolla $ign Teases New Single “Hottest In The City”
Ty Dolla $ign has gifted fans with a brief snippet of his newest single, “Hottest In the City.”
Monday night, the Los Angeles-bred vocalist took to the stage of NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and debuted the new track. Lifted from his forthcoming album, “Hottest In the City” is a distorted twerk anthem featuring ad-libs from the incomparable Juicy J.
Ty opened his Fallon performance with the J. Cole-assisted cut, “Purple Emoji” — just one of the many collaborative efforts he’s released this year.
At the top of 2019, the crooner appeared alongside Kehlani for the dialed-down ballad “Nights Like This,” the lead single from her mixtape While We Wait. Most recently, Ty lent his vocals to the Dreamville compilation album, Revenge of the Dreamers III, on the posse cut “Got Me” featuring Ari Lennox, Omen and Dreezy.
Next month, the R&B wunderkind is set to hit the road with Chris Brown on the singer’s INDIGOAT Tour.
