Two Teens Arrested During Street Racing Patrol

Portland, Or.- A street racing patrol in North and Northeast Portland has resulted in the arrest of two teenage drivers. 18-year-old Emily Morgan and 18-year-old Johnathan Martinez-Malcon face reckless driving and reckless endangering charges. Portland Police say Sunday night’s patrol included 18 traffic stops and three towed vehicles.

The bureau says it will continue its effort to educate people about the dangers of speed racing.
