Portland, Oregon – A big house fire early this morning in Southeast Portland. It broke out around 12:30am near SE 60th and Flavel Drive. Huge flames were shooting into the air when firefighters arrived. They called a second alarm for backup help to keep the fire from spreading to nearby homes. Thankfully everyone inside made it out safely. No word on a cause yet. Traffic was affected on nearby streets as crews mopped up the scene.
