The Weeknd Gets Into eSports

The Weeknd has put money into one of the largest eSports groups in Canada.

He purchased an ownership stake in OverActive Media.

The company has teams competing in League of Legends, Overwatch and Call of Duty.

In a statement, The Weeknd said, “As a big eSports fan, I am really excited to be involved in this project.”
