Lauren London Gets A Tattoo In Honor Of Nipsey Hussle
Lauren London is permanently honoring the legacy of her longtime partner Nipsey Hussle.
Just a day after Hussle’s star-studded “celebration of life” memorial service at the Staples Center, London revealed on Instagram that she’d tattooed an image of her boyfriend’s face on her arm.
“Real Love Never Dies,” she captioned the image, which shows the message “God will rise,” under Nipsey face. “When you see me, you will always see him #LoveYouHussle #TMC.”
As previously reported, London spoke at the rapper’s funeral, which was attended by thousands. It featured remarks and performances from family, friends, and many celebrity artists, like Snoop Dogg, YG, Jhene Aiko and Stevie Wonder.
“I had to write something because I never felt this type of pain before,” London had said during the memorial. “My pain is for my two-year-old that probably won’t remember how much his dad loved him.”
Nipsey and Lauren share one child together, Kross, and co-parent two other children: Emani, Nipsey’s children from a previous relationship, and Kameron Carter, London’s child with rapper Lil Wayne.
As previously reported, Hussle’s was gunned down on March 31 in front of his Marathon clothing store. Since his death, the acclaimed lyricist and father of two has been hailed as a pillar of his community.
His accused killer, 29-year-old Eric Holder, has been charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. He’s pleaded not guilty; bail has been set at $5 million.
