Drake Just Set Another Billboard Record

Drake is adding more history to his resume: His second studio album, Take Care, has set the record for the most weeks on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Album chart.

Released in 2011, the album has been on the chart for a whopping 186 weeks, breaking the previous record of 185 weeks set by Kenny G’s Breathless, which was on the chart from 1992-1997. Upon its release, Take Care spent 12 weeks at #1, longer than any other Drake album.

The 18-track project includes the five-times platinum single “The Motto,” featuring Lil Wayne, as well as the four-times platinum single “Headlines,” and the four-times platinum title track featuring Rihanna.

The album also include collabos with The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Birdman, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and Andre 3000 from Outkast.

Take Care went on to sell four million copies and win the Grammy for Best Rap Album.
