T-Pain Is Taking A Break From Music For Medical Reasons

T-Pain is taking a break from performing to give his voice a chance to chill.

In a message posted to his Instagram page, T-Pain let fans know that the doctor has ordered him to rest to avoid permanently damaging his vocal cords.

Take care of yourself out there. My apologies to all the schools and venues. I wanna be 100% on that stage and give my all but I wouldn’t be able to in my current condition. Rescheduling is happening as we speak. Thank you for understanding. Again, my sincere apologies. Pizzle.

T-Pain has been on a heavy tour schedule and has to get a shot and take pills for the following six days as part of his recovery.

During the video, T-Pain said he’s not canceling any of his upcoming shows, but will reschedule them for a later date.
