T.I. is standing his ground in supporting Michael Jackson, despite the shocking claims made in HBO’s new Leaving Neverland documentary.

Wednesday, the veteran rapper took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the exposé, which details long-term sexually abusive relationships Jackson allegedly had with two young boys. T.I., however, believes the film is a direct attack on Black culture.

“Dead men can’t speak. So what was the point again?” the Trap Muzik lyricist captioned a post of audio from a dated interview between Jackson and Piers Morgan.

He continued, “Destroy another strong black historical LEGEND?!?! It’s several examples of pedophilia in American History… if y’all pulling up all our old s***… we gotta examine Elvis Presley, Hugh [Hefner], and a whole slew of others guilty of the same if not more!!!”

The audio clip T.I. shared was an interview between Morgan and Jackson from 1999, during which the global star vehemently denied that he would ever abuse a child.

“I would slit my wrists before I would [harm a child]. I would never ever,” Jackson said. “If it wasn’t for children, I would throw in the towel. I would kill myself. I wouldn’t care to live.”

T.I. continued to defend Jackson by sharing a follow-up post which questioned the idea that men can’t dedicate their lives to helping children without being perverse.

The rapper captioned the photo:
