Swimmer’s Body Recovered In Columbia River

Portland, Ore – A man drowned in the Columbia River Friday night according to Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.

The MCSO River Patrol arrived to the section of the river near Kelly Point Park. Reports came in at about 10 pm of a swimmer who had gone under the water and had not resurfaced.

After searching the river for an hour, the River Patrol recovered the man’s body. He hasn’t been identified yet.
