Strike Avoided As SEIU Members And Universities Come To An Agreement

Oregon’s seven public universities and the Service Employees International Union have reached an agreement on a new contract that will avert a strike by 45-hundred employees. he strike would have begun on Monday, which is the first day of classes for many of Oregon’s public universities. S-E-I-U members are scheduled to ratify the settlement in October with implementation starting in November.
