Spike Lee’s ‘Da 5 Bloods’ Named Best Movie Of 2020

The National Board of Review has named Spike Lee’s film Da 5 Bloods the best film of 2020.

In addition, Spike won the top prize for a director to become only the second Black director behind Bary Jenkins to receive the honor.

Receiving this award has some award implications. Over the last 30 years, the film that won the best film prize would be nominated for a best picture Academy Award.
