Rihanna Drops Tantalizing Details About Her Next Album

You probably have this Friday marked on your calendar as ‘Rihanna Day” as the third installment of her Savage x Fenty fashion show is set to debut on Amazon Prime (September 24th).

But it’s what she said before she taped the Savage x Fenty fashion show that has everyone all ears. The lingerie mogul discussed her upcoming album suggesting that she might have gone back to the drawing board for her ninth studio album.

“You’re not going to expect what you hear. Just put that in your mind,” said Rihanna. “I’m really experimenting. Music is like fashion. You should be able to play. I should be able to wear whatever I want. I treat music the same way. So I’m having fun and it’s going to be completely different.”

Previously Rihanna had said her album would have more of an island vibe but with the suggestion that the sound could be something we’ve never heard from the singer, it’s clear that Rihanna decided to switch gears and give fans something brand new.
