Rich The Kid’s Entourage Pistol Whipped And Robbed
Rapper Rich the Kid had a very close call Tuesday when he and two friends were robbed outside of a recording studio.
According to Los Angeles police, Rich and two friends said they were in an alley behind Westlake Studios in West Hollywood just after 3:00 in the afternoon local time when three unidentified men confronted them, robbed them of their money and jewelry and then physically assaulted them.
As the suspects got into a vehicle and drove off, one of them apparently also fired at least one shot, though according to TMZ it was up to ten. Fortunately, no one was hit. TMZ also reports Usher was inside the studio at the time but wasn’t involved in the incident.
Rich the Kid and his two friends were treated at the scene for minor injuries, the LAPD said. At last word, police were still searching for the suspects.
The robbery comes less than a year after Rich the Kid was the victim of a home invasion last June, suffering a beating at gunpoint that briefly put him in the hospital.
