Remy Ma Is Reportedly Being Investigated For Assault
Remy Ma is reportedly under investigation by the NYPD for allegedly assaulting one of her Love & Hip-Hop co-stars earlier this week, the New York Daily News has learned.
Per the report, the rapper is accused of attacking fellow reality star Brittney Taylor on Tuesday at a benefit concert. Allegedly, Remy punched Taylor in the face, causing her to suffer bruising to her right eye; Taylor eventually sought treatment at a local area hospital.
The day after the show, Taylor reported the incident to police.
In a subsequent Instagram post, the Love & Hip-Hop star shared with fans that she was having trouble maintaining focus ahead of a “very important meeting” due to the alleged attack.
“I didn’t wanna bring it to social media because it’s pretty embarrassing and not a good look,” she captioned a video of herself showing off a black eye.
She added: “I tried my best to cover it up with makeup and move on but that still didn’t work.”
On Thursday, Taylor enlisted the help of lawyer Sanford Rubenstein to represent her. “She wants Remy Ma prosecuted for what she did to her,” Rubenstein told the New York Daily News.
Remy Ma has yet to be charged, but authorities are still investigating the incident.
