Record Rainfall Sunday Two Cities in Oregon

PORTLAND, Ore—-.46 inches of rain fell in Hillsboro .78 inches fell in Portland.  Both smashed records dating back to 1955.   thunderstorms and showers moving in this afternoon.  Tomorrow, Tuesday is expected to be very wet and windy.  Gusts to 40mph rain accumulation for Portland 1/2 inch.  Thursday we start to dry out again the high will be in the low 70’s.  Fall is just a week away.
