Rapper Kanye West Files for Oklahoma Presidential Ballot
Now that Kanye West has filed a “Statement of Organization” and is officially running for President of the United States, his name will appear on Oklahoma ballots in November.
A representative of West’s filed paperwork and paid the $35,000 filing fee on Wednesday (July 15th) which was the deadline.
Kanye is one of three independent candidates that will appear on November’s ballot, he will join concert pianist Jade Simmons and cryptocurrency entrepreneur Brock Pierce.
West told Forbes Magazine that his White House would be modeled after Black Panther’s Wakanda.
