Bow Wow Was Arrested In Atlanta Over The Weekend

Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta star Bow Wow has been arrested.

ABC News affiliate WSB-TV reports the “Bounce with Me” rapper was arrested early Saturday morning in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to authorities, Bow Wow, whose birth name is Shad Moss, has been accused of assaulting a woman in midtown Atlanta around 4:15 a.m. Saturday morning. Atlanta police say the woman, identified as Leslie Holden, and Moss “sustained visible minor injuries.”

According to WSB, officers on the case say they “were unable to determine the primary aggressor of the altercation, so both parties” have been charged with battery.

Holden and Moss were processed and taken to the Fulton County Jail.

According to his Twitter account, Bow Wow, an Atlanta native, was involved in local Super Bowl activities. He was seen promoting a pop-up shop event for his mother taking place on Friday and Saturday.

He tweeted:
