Queen Elizabeth II – Dead at Age 96

Queen Elizabeth II, the UK’s longest-serving monarch, has died at Balmoral aged 96, after reigning for 70 years.
Buckingham Palace released a statement earlier today saying that “following further evaluation” her doctors were “concerned for her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.” She passed just hours after that announcement.
