Pop Smoke’s Investigation Has Been Impacted By Coronavirus Crisis
The investigation into who killed Pop Smoke isn’t coming up with any leads and with the Coronavirus pandemic in full swing, the LAPD’s resources have been limited.
According to TMZ, The LAPD has shifted most of its resources to deal with COVID-19 efforts and has only conducted face-to-face interviews to no avail.
As of now, there have been no suspects named in the death of Pop Smoke and few people are willing to talk to police.
Capt. Jonathan L. Tippet, the head of LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division told the New York Times that his death might have been a targeted hit.
