Pharrell Williams is always on the cutting edge of the entertainment and music world and now he’s working on a new Netflix series for kids called “Brainchild.”

The Netflix series is a spinoff of National Geographic’s “Brain Games,” which Pharrell admits he loves watching with his children.

“I got involved with Brainchild because there is a desperate need to raise awareness about the importance of science with our youth,” said Pharrell.  The Grammy-winning producer is vowing to put STEM-focused topics in front of minority children in order to give them the exposure that may not otherwise be available to them.

“…At the core of the plight of children of color in this country is a lack of access to actionable education, said Pharrell.
