PDX Abortion Rights

Portland Ore – The Portland City Council is taking a strict stance on abortion and has passed a resolution that would back a woman’s right to choose. Jo Ann hardesty introduced the measure with the support of abortion rights groups in the city.
The resolution would allow the Portland City Attorney to participate in any future federal lawsuits challenging abortion bans across the country. It not only condemns any attempts to impede access to abortion, but also says the city needs to continue to work to eliminate the stigma around abortion,
