GQ is doing a series catching up with celebrities while they stay safe at home. One of their profiles features Offset. He’s in Los Angeles with Cardi B and their daughter Kulture.
Offset is not walking around in sweats for a week. He said, “To be honest, I like to get dressed so much, I’ll find myself putting fits on and taking pictures in the driveway just so I can have some content to give to my fans while we’re sitting at home.”
He’s working from his home studio on the new Migos album while conferencing with Takeoff and Quavo. Offset said, “[Quarantine] has just given me a harder grind, a harder drive, on the inside. Ever since ‘Bad and Boujee’ went No. 1 and then we dropped Culture and Culture II, He continued, “I’ve heard the word culture so much. As artists you challenge yourself—you have to keep moving forward. So I’ve been thinking of a plan to make something as powerful or more powerful [than Culture].”
Offset was asked if the quarantine had brought him and Cardi closer. He said, “Yessir. Both our time and both our schedules be hectic, so we’re taking advantage of that. But, we’re both ready to get back to work.”
