Offset may be back in Cardi B‘s good graces, but the rapper is now pointing fingers at the media for their previous marriage woes.

In a new interview with GQ, the Father of 4 lyricist claims that he’s often portrayed as the “bad guy” by celebrity sites and blogs. This same sentiment apparently fueled one of the songs on his new album, “North Star.”

“I’m 27, I’m a young guy, we done stepped into some things we didn’t really know too much about,” Set told the men’s magazine.

He then criticized the media for exploiting his private life for “views and comments.”

“We love each other and everything, but it’s like, we was going through a separation — both of us are artists on top, too — so when certain blogs would lie or say something that wasn’t true, I would still become the bad guy somehow,” he added.

“I don’t get why it can’t just be: ‘I f***** up, I made my say, and we moved past that s***.’”

Late last year, the couple publicly split following rumors of Offset’s infidelity. The Migos frontman then launched a #TakeOffsetBack campaign, even going as far as to offer Cardi an onstage apology during her Rolling Loud set.

But, Set has no regrets in that regard.

“I’d jump out the window trying to get her back, with a parachute on my back,” the “Red Room” rapper recently told Billboard. “You gotta fight for what you believe in and what you love.”

“You might have looked at me as being selfish on-stage, but I’m just trying to get what’s mine. I’m ready to look stupid, I’m ready to take this shot in the back.”
