The Legacy Of Nipsey Hussle Continues To Be Celebrated
The life and legacy of Nipsey Hussle continue to be celebrated with a memorial tower being constructed in his honor.
Thursday night, the late rapper’s Marathon Clothing store shared the news with fans on Instagram that the storefront would remain closed as they begin to develop the forthcoming Nipsey Hussle Tower. The structure will immortalize Hussle, in the same location in which his life was tragically taken.
“As a notice to the public, we’re putting up a gate on Thursday, August 1st, 2019 to enclose the plaza at 3420 W. Slauson Ave to start the early development stages of the forthcoming Nipsey Hussle Tower to commemorate and honor the life and legacy of Nipsey,” a statement reads on the brand’s official Instagram account.

While details regarding the Nipsey Hussle Tower’s date of completion are unknown at the moment, it will presumably be built within the confines of the mini-mall development which the late rapper owned and operated business out of.
Since Hussle’s untimely death in March, The Marathon Clothing store has experienced an unprecedented amount of support. So much so, the staff has had to work around the clock to fulfill orders from fans, celebrities and others alike.
