Nicki Minaj Drags BET Awards Over Low Ratings
Nicki Minaj‘s “beef” with BET is far from over.
Earlier this year, the “Megatron” rapper found herself embroiled in a feud with the media network after BET’s official Twitter account posted an article about Cardi B, and shaded Nicki in the process.
Shortly after, both the Head Barb and Lil Wayne pulled out of the BET Experience concert series, which serves as a lead-in to the BET Awards. The annual ceremony aired last weekend and reportedly garnered the lowest ratings in the network’s history.

Upon catching wind of the news, Nicki threw less than subtle jabs at BET via Twitter on Thursday.
She tweeted:
When u go out of ur way to b spiteful & hurt artists who have always supported ur show… when you fire great ppl who have put their heart & soul into the show… when you’d rather be a messy reality show than a prestigious award show… when ur still being dragged by that lace https://t.co/DOYKmgAlyr

The Queens-bred lyricist eventually followed up the shady tweet with a laughing emoji and promoted her appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon this evening.
