New Wildfire Breaks Out In Southern Oregon
Oregon – A brand new wildfire broke out overnight in Southern Oregon, south of Grants Pass. It’s in the Panther Gulch area of the Applegate Valley. It’s already burned 25 acres. It’s adding more smoke to the area that’s already struggling with poor air quality, because of another nearby wildfire. Fire fighters began an aggressive attack last night. Multiple crews and aircraft were brought in from the nearby Milepost 97 fire. The Department of Forestry says on Facebook there are no evacuations or road closures right now, but they are asking you to please avoid the area.
