Mythical Wu-Tang Clan Album Sold By U.S. Government
That rare Wu-Tang album that Martin Shkreli spent big bucks for has been sold by the government.
If you remember, Shkreli is the guy that got convicted for jacking up the price of AIDS/cancer meds bought the only copy of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin by the Wu-Tang Clan for $2 million back in 2015.
In 2018, Shkreli was ordered by a judge to pay damages of $7,360,450. Feds already had $5,121.967.70. The sale of the rare album for an undisclosed amount to an anonymous person paid the remainder of Shkreli’s balance.
A one-of-a-kind album by the Wu-Tang Clan, which Martin Shkreli paid $2 million for at auction, has been sold by the U.S. to cover the debt that the disgraced pharmaceutical executive owed the government. https://t.co/2Togwkqmuw
