Mt. Hood, Or. – A search is underway for an 80 year old Tigard woman who went mushroom picking near Trillium Lake Thursday and never returned to her car. The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office got a call last night from Taka Masuda, who was on the mushroom hunt with  Akemi Takahashi.. He told them he had not seen his friend since 4:40 p.m. yesterday afternoon.

Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office search and rescue coordinators  established a command post at Trillium Lake Camp Ground.  Volunteer searchers from Pacific Northwest  Search and Rescue along with K-9 search teams from Mountain Wave Search and Rescue responded last night.  Teams searched the area but were unable to locate  Takahashi.
