Gresham, Ore. – A man with dementia has disappeared and Gresham Police want you to keep an eye out for him. 67-year-old James Rivers was last seen leaving the Safeway on Highland Drive around noon on Sunday. Rivers is a black guy, 5-feet-11, about 175-pounds, with salt-and-pepper hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a dark jacket with white lettering, a green “Just do it” shirt, blue shorts, and a light baseball cap. If you see him or know where he is call Gresham Police.

Gresham Police is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 67-year-old man with dementia.  James Lee Rivers was last seen at the Highland Safeway at 1001 SW Highland Dr., in Gresham between 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.  Rivers has salt and pepper hair and brown eyes.  He is approximately 5-feet-11-inches tall and 175 pounds.  Rivers was last seen wearing a dark jacket with white lettering, a green shirt with “Just Do It” on the front, blue shorts, white shoes and a light-colored ball cap. Anyone who knows of Rivers’ whereabouts is encouraged to call the non-emergency police dispatch line at 503.823.3333 or if needed, 911.
