Mary J. Blige Claps Back At Rude Fan On Tour Stop
Mary J. Blige is not to be disrespected, especially while the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul is taking the stage.
Friday, footage surfaced online of Blige scolding an audience member during a recent tour stop in Nashville, which was part of her ongoing Royalty trek with Nas. In the clip, the veteran singer is seen talking candidly to fans in the crowd, when someone seems to shout at Blige to quiet down.
The “No More Drama” singer fired right back at the naysayer, saying “And for the person that’s been in here all night saying ‘Mary shut the f*** up, YOU shut the f*** up.”

The crowd erupted into applause and showered Blige with cheers of support. The singer’s epic clapback was prefaced by a speech advising fans on how to deal with negativity.
“As you can see, Mary J. Blige don’t give no f****, and I said it,” Blige said. “I’ve had enough. Every time you look around, somebody got some s*** to say.”
The Royalty Tour continues this weekend in New Jersey, as Blige and Nas invade the Hard Rock Live in Atlantic City. The duo will be cross-country bound until September with a final performance at L.A.’s Hollywood Bowl.
