Logic has released the title track off his upcoming new album, along with a bloody music video.

“Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” finds Logic — birth name Bobby Hall — reflecting on the negative aspects of fame. He admits to insecurities and suicidal thoughts, but the song ends on an uplifting note with Logic rapping about his vision for a better future.

“Do what you love and do not give a damn/F*** all the haters you see on the ‘Gram/Just mind your own business and be a good man,” he raps.

In the music video, Logic starts the song as blood begins to flow from a gash on his neck. The wound gets worse and worse but he seems to numb to the pain, even lighting up a joint at one point.

The clip ends with a blood-soaked Logic smiling at the camera and walking away.

“I wrote this one in Blood,” Logic says of the track on Twitter.

That’s not the only writing he’s been doing. While his new album doesn’t yet have a release date, Logic’s debut novel comes out next week. Supermarket, a dark thriller, hits shelves March 26.
