Lizzo Snatches First Top 10 Single On Hot 100 Charts

Lizzo may not have her Disney dreams, of portraying the sea witch Ursula, fulfilled just yet. But, the singer has much more to celebrate as she snags her first top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 with “Truth Hurts.”

The breakout hit bounds from number 11 to number 6 in its eighth tracking week, Billboard reports. The Ricky Reed-produced cut initially entered the tally at number 50, serving as Lizzo’s first Hot 100 entry.

“Truth Hurts” was originally released in 2017. However, it experienced a revival of shorts after being featured in the Netflix rom-com series Someone Great, which premiered last month. The song can also be found on Lizzo’s new album, Cuz I Love You, which debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 in May.
