Lizzo And Missy Elliott Drop A Fierce New Music Video

Lizzo has gifted fans with the long-awaited video for her Missy Elliott-assisted single “Tempo.”

In the Andy Hines-directed clip, the spunky rapper teams up with Missy to turn the parking lot of a diner into a party for the ages. Sporting a blue feather boa and red cowboy hat, all the world’s a stage as Lizzo simultaneously plays the flute and twerks with her crew to the song’s feel-good lyrics.

Upon the video’s arrival, the multi-talented “Truth Hurts” artist sent a message to her detractors via Twitter.

Lizzo tweeted:

The collaborative effort is lifted from Lizzo’s major label debut Cuz I Love You, which was released this past April. In September, she’ll be bringing the project to life on the road as part of the second North American leg of her Cuz I Love You Too Tour.
