Lil Nas X Just Revealed ‘Montero’ Album Art
Lil Nas X has revealed his real album artwork and it’s heavenly. The “Montero” rapper shared the artwork on social media Tuesday (August 31). It features a naked Nas X covered by a blue butterfly as he floats in a colorful garden amid Roman-like structures.
X says there were two inspirations behind the artwork, one was from the book of Genesis from the Bible the other was a Spongebob meme.
Earlier this week, Lil Nas X had previously reimaged Drake’s album artwork which featured pregnant women emojis. Nas’ rework was of pregnant men emojis.
Montero, Lil Nas X’s debut album is set to be released on September 17th.
