Kodak Black’s Family Reportedly Plans to Sue Federal Prison Over Alleged Abuse

Kodak Black mother, Marlene Simmons, has hired the lawyer who represented Trayvon Martin’s family after fears that officials at the Miami federal prison are abusing her son.
Kodak recently posted on Instagram about the abuse he’s enduring while being jailed, “There is a big conspiracy going on in this building on Me. Santiago Torres is using her position wrongfully in Miami FDC and is abusing her authority…”
Kodak says that his girlfriend has been taken off his visitation list and he was unable to see his mother during the holidays. Black also claims that he was served an empty tray for his breakfast on New Year’s Eve and he believes prison employees are mishandling his mail.
Kodak’s attorney Benjamin Crump says a welfare check was scheduled but Kodak was moved to a Kentucky prison the day they were scheduled to meet him. Crump feels like the move was done on purpose to prohibit him from meeting with his attorneys.
