A federal judge in Miami reversed a previous decision to release Kodak Black on bail Wednesday and ordered that he remain in jail as he faces weapons charges.

U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno said he was concerned about the rapper’s criminal record and his history of purchasing firearms, according to the Miami Herald. Magistrate Judge Edwin Torres had granted Black $550,000 bond and ordered him released under house arrest with electronic monitoring,

As previously reported, the “ZEZE” rapper was arrested May 11 in Miami on state and federal firearms charges before he was scheduled to perform at the Rolling Loud music festival at the Hard Rock Stadium. Black was indicted on two counts of making a false statement on a governmental form in an attempt to purchase a firearm. He’s accused of lying about not being previously charged with a crime when he bought three handguns in January. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison.

“I’m very concerned with the type of guns he wanted to get a hold of … and that he has a prior [criminal history],” Judge Moreno said. “He was out on bond and he committed an offense. I think he’s a danger to the community because he wants to have access to guns.”

The recent arrest is just the latest in a string of ongoing legal issues for 21-year-old Kodak, born Bill Kapri. He’s also awaiting trial on sexual assault charges in South Carolina. Additionally, Black was arrested on drug and weapons charges as he attempted to cross the border from Canada into the United States. In 2012, he was arrested for carjacking and robbery, and in 2016 for weapons possession and evading police.
