Kids See Ghosts could be set to rise again, with Kid Cudi confirming that Kanye West is eyeing a follow-up to their 2018 collaborative effort.

In a new cover story for Complex, the “Day ‘N’ Nite” lyricist revealed that there will “definitely” be another installment of the album, noting, “Kanye already told me he wants to start working on the second one.”

The Grammy-winning multi-talent then went on to explain that he was initially surprised by Ye’s interest in producing a joint album together.

“It’s kinda weird, ’cause with the first album, I didn’t know how serious he was about making a collab album with me,” Cudi admitted. “He had mentioned it, but I thought it was just a good idea he had in the moment.”

“But then he kept bringing it up and kept having me come to his house, listen to music, and work on beats, so I was like, ‘Wow, he’s really into this.’ So there will definitely be more,” he added.

Elsewhere in the interview, Cudi also dished on his forthcoming album Entergalactic, which will accompany his new animated Netflix series of the same name.

“I think this [album] is my perspective on love, and people haven’t really heard that,” the rapper explained. “I’m trying my hardest to still introduce new sounds and push the envelope, sonically.”

Cudi is set to co-write, direct, and executive-produce Entergalactic alongside Kenya Barris, creator of ABC’s black-ish.

The music aside, the Chicago native’s other endeavors include roles in the upcoming third season of HBO’s Westworld, as well as in the upcoming movie We Are Who We Are, directed by Luca Guadagnino, the man behind Call Me By Your Name.
