Khalid Continues To Gift Fans With New Music
Khalid has continued to gift fans with new music, by dropping off his latest effort “Self.”
The introspective single finds the 21-year-old crooning about his inner demons, as he reflects on his life and inevitable death.
“It’s gettin’ hard for me to breathe / ’Cause the man that I’ve been runnin’ from is inside of me,” Khalid sings over the piano-laced production.
“Self” is set appear on Khalid’s forthcoming sophomore album, Free Spirit, due April 5. The project is the follow-up to his smash 2017 debut American Teen, which features his breakout single “Location.”
Khalid will support Free Spirit with a run of April TV spots: The Tonight Show on the 4th, ABC’s Good Morning America on the 5th and the 54th Academy of Country Music Awards on the 7th.
