Kendrick Lamar Protests Alongside NBA Stars in Compton

The call for Kendrick Lamar to speak out in protest against police brutality was answered after TDE tweeted out pictures of the “DAMN” rapper walking side by side with NBA players at last weekend’s Compton Peace Walk.
Lamer was pictured wearing black from head to toe with a black scarf covering his face.

Kendrick’s label Topdog Entertainment released a statement following the death of George Floyd saying, “Standing up against the odds and uplifting our community is foundational at Top Dawg Entertainment. Our goal as a company is to represent the talent, perseverance, and strength of our people.”
