Kanye West’s New Jersey Ballot Petition Falls Short, Complaint Says
Kanye’s petition to appear on the New Jersey presidential ballot may not meet the necessary requirements.
A law attorney, Scott Salmon, filed an objection with the state Division of Elections after reviewing some of the 1,300 signatures.

New Jersey requires 800 signatures in order to appear on the presidential ballot.
Scott Salmon said he counted more than 600 signatures that were defective.
Either the handwriting of several of the signatures were identical or they didn’t have complete home addresses.
