Another day, another Kanye tweetstrom, the rant began on Monday evening as Kanye took to Twitter calling out his labels, Universal and Sony records. In the same tweet, he called the music industry and the NBA, “modern-day slave ships.”

“I need to see everybody’s contracts at Universal and Sony,” ’Ye tweeted. “I’m not gonna watch my people be enslaved. I’m putting my life on the line for my people. The music industry and the NBA are modern-day slave ships. I’m the new Moses.”

Kanye also retweeted an article by BallerAlert where NBA star Kevin Durant and music executive, Steve Stoute addressed the NBA’s initiative with Black Lives Matter and why people shouldn’t vote for Kanye in the upcoming presidential election, he added a yawn emoji to the post.

During the Twitter rant, Kanye called for a public apology from J. Cole and Drake, and called himself, “Nat Turner” saying he was fighting for “all of us” before arguing that black men are signing with entities that aren’t owned by black people.
