Joe Budden Disrespected Kawhi Leonard’s Late Father

Joe Budden is one who never shies away from voicing his opinion, but this time he may have gone too far when speaking about NBA star Kawhi Leonard’s late father.

On one of his recent podcasts, Budden said that Kawhi’s dad was a “killer” and said that he read the information in five different sources.

“Dad is in jail for I think whatever,” Budden said on his podcast. “I won’t get into it, I’m afraid. And the uncle is out handling the business as Kahwi’s manager.”

When another person on the show looked up the information and found out that Kawhi’s father had been shot and killed at a carwash he owned back in 2008, Joe still didn’t back down from his story. The group continued to laugh and joke before moving on to another topic.

Yeah that was the last straw. I’m not rocking with any Joe Budden content for a while. To inaccurately depict Kawhi’s dad as a criminal for shits and giggles when one of the BIGGEST facts about Kawhi’s story is his father being murdered is sickening.
