Fans thought Big Sean and Jhene Aiko had gotten back together after she posted a picture of her and Sean sitting on a lifeguard stand at the beach over the weekend.
Jhene’s new freestyle, “Triggered” was seen by many as a diss track to Sean, however, Aiko said:
triggered is NOT a diss song. it is a moment of talking shit out of frustration and passion. it’s was a moment of exaggerated expression when I was feeling lost and weak. no one is to be blamed or bashed for how I was feeling in that moment. I am in control of my feelings.

Some fans were bashing Big Sean on social media in defense of Aiko, however, the singer explained that her words in the song was her way of expressing herself and she since moved on optimistically.
Jhene and Big Sean met up so she could explain her frustrations and to post a picture so fans would stop “hating on Sean so much.”
