The rallying cry for 21 Savage‘s freedom has grown with the addition of JAY-Z and Roc Nation to its roster.

Wednesday, the hip-hop titan issued a statement denouncing ICE’s detainment of 21.

“The arrest and detention of 21 Savage is an absolute travesty,” Jay’s statement reads.

“His U visa petition has been pending for 4 years,” he added. “In addition to being a successful recording artist, 21 deserves to be reunited with his children immediately.”

According to a report from TMZ, the music mogul has also enlisted the help of attorney Alex Spiro to assist with legal matters regarding 21’s case. Spiro issued a statement, pointing out the absurdity of ICE’s claims against his new client.

“We are not going to stop until he is released, bonded out or in front of a judge,” Spiro told TMZ.

“What we have here is someone who overstayed their visa with an application pending for four years — not a convicted criminal that needs to be detained and removed but, by all accounts, a wonderful person, father, and entertainer.”

JAY-Z joins a chorus of 21’s supporters, who include J. Cole, Cardi B, and Georgia representative Henry C. “Hank” Johnson.
